North East India International Meet-2010, in Guahati, Assam, India

First Ever North East Indian Meet Took place on 11th & 12th January at ITA Center for Performing Art at Guwahati. North East Indians from All over the Globe took part in that event.The Meet was being jointly organized by Friends of Assam and Seven Sisters (FASS) and the Assam Government Tarun Gogoi, CM Assam Inaugurated the Event and His Excellency Ranjit Shekhar Mushahary, the Governor of Meghalaya attended the concluding session. I, Sushanta Kar was present there. Inaugurated FRIENDS, the magazine published FASS. I met so many friends whom earlier I knew only on internet.

Short tips 4: What subject to choose?
It will depend on how close your camera can get to the subject keep a minimum focusing distance of camera, and then choose something that fills the view finder. If you try out this practice aim to have a neutral background, it will not interface with shape of subject. You can able to isolate the subject from distracting surroundings on a large paper, in an empty room or on a white sheet or any middle of a ground. Position the subject and your camera so that the daylight lights the subject from a side, and do not use flash light as you cannot determine what affect it will create. With a simple subject like a football, you have two choices either to move the subject or move your camera. It is better to move camera rather than the subject so that when you come to an unmovable object like a tree. You are to be used to moving around to find the best viewpoint. Keep your result carefully to compare the difference from each affect.

When you are going to take photography you consider two points, what you are going to include and when to press the shutter, both instances you consider how to show your subject in most effectively. Compose your view finder with subject with considering background means how and what you are capturing your ideas from camera to album. A good composition is mean simplifying your photograph by changing view point from upper to lower, left to right, close or increase distance. Of course it means thinking about direction and quality of lighting and the view of your subject with adjusting the background. It can make a big difference.

All of us expect a good photography but, unfortunately in our life it comes very rarely. It is a combination of correct setting of camera and quick decision of photographer depending on the situation of reality. Even a top class photographer can never predict what he is going to capture. A successful photography begins with viewfinder, how it looks the subject with idea and how it will appear after printing. It is very important the use of background and foreground, tone, correct measurement of depth of field and capturing moment with full concentration on the weather and a small sense of art. Just a click on the shutter of a camera is not meaning a good photography. It comes after a day after day practice and full utilisation of sense of art.
